STATEMENT OF OBJECTIVES

RhythEmix has (5) primary objectives:

1) Entertainment industry focus:

To bridge the academic learning environment at the School with the Entertainment Industry and more.

2) Provide opportunities for personal and professional development:

Create mechanisms for people to gain advantage when looking for opportunities in the Entertainment and other industries, as well as empower them to enter the private or public sectors prepared, by enriching their personal and social skills.

3) Connections Forum:

Provide a unique forum for all Booth students, Booth alumni, faculty and staff to get together, engage in learning, networking, and recruiting/professional opportunities.

 4) Strengthen the Booth and University Community:

Offer partnerships with other Booth, University of Chicago, and premier business schools organizations.

 5) Social responsibility:

Contribute to the raising of funds to encourage learning and well-being. At minimum it will organize Galas for the enjoyment of its member and set aside part of the contributions (a minimum of 5%) for a charitable cause. The funds are to be directed and dispersed at the discretion of the Board.
